ABOUT CREATING A CHARACTER >
Long before that first stroke is onto the paper, the journey of story-telling has already begun. First, I would come up with those interesting back-stories in my head, then proceeded by me visualizing how I want this fictional character to look, and bringing life to it with its distinct personality. Of course, I'd probably pile on even more details as this process moved along.
I guess that explains why 'trilogy' as a storytelling structure is so prevalent in all sorts of media these days, because we all want to tell not just 'one' story but the 'whole' bag of goodies with the themes that we've developed in our vivid imaginations.

ABOUT DESIGNING GRAPHICS >
More often than not, It is a graphic artist's earnest intent to reset the visual dialogue to rekindle people's imagination, so the nuance can emerges. An artwork is like a thinking piece that provides its viewers an opportunity to re-assess their realities with a fresh perspective, and to recognize the ingenuity behind it with anew appreciation.
A powerful graphic design also depends on striking a balance between aesthetics and pragmatism. By showing an understanding to the ever-changing surroundings that we live in, it lends itself to more meaningful conversations that would promote the positive reinforcements.

This is Bruce Wang.
I am the guy who is responsible for all these here. Currently I work as a freelance artist doing a little bit of everything; Graphic design, Animation, Character design and Illustration.
Greatly Influenced by my father who was an artist (sculptor) in Taiwan, I've followed his footsteps and become an artist in my own right. Growing up, I tend to hone my artistic skills and creativity with the sensibility inherited in me, regardless the media that I chose. Because they are all about fun to me. One of my dreams since childhood has always been to be able to create things with my own hands, feeling the gratification knowing that I was expressing myself through the creative processes. Looking back on from where I am at, I can say that I've achieved some of that, and yet I am very excited to see what the future holds for me.
When I am not busy with works, I also like to invent stuff that nobody seems to care. I'm always dreaming about hitting big with one of my quirky designs someday.....
